Edinburgh International Book Festival partners with Tangent for the fifth year running to create 2014 visual identity
The Edinburgh International Book Festival has worked with Tangent to create its new visual identity for 2014.
This year marks the fifth year that the Festival - which this year runs until Monday 25 August - has worked with the Scottish design agency.
Each year the Festival identity is based on around a certain theme, with this year’s being ‘the importance of dialogue’ in a landmark year for Scotland.
To bring the theme to life Tangent has engaged New York-based illustrator Josh Brill to create a range of ‘Songbird’ illustrations for the visual identity which features across Festival marketing materials, the programme and on-site branding.
The work follows high profile Tangent projects including the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games and People Make Glasgow.
