Japanese TV has yet again produced another odd ad, this time featuring Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo testing out a crazy, winged facial toner.

In the ad, the Real Madrid forward briefly messes with the Pao Facial Fitness device, however, the Japanese firm clearly didn’t pay the star enough to put the goofy contraption in his mouth.

The logic-defying clip shows users popping the device in their mouths before rhythmically bobbing their heads up and down in a bid to tone their faces.

It has already hit half a million views on YouTube despite only being uploaded a few days ago.

The manufacturers may be upset that the device, which claims to exercise and strengthen facial muscles has only been enhancing the smiles of those mocking it on social networks.

Viewers may think the Ballon d’Or winner is the victim of an elaborate prank after seeing him also endorse Pao’s ‘ReFa Active’ muscle massager.

Perhaps the star was trying to enhance his smile for the release of his CR7 underwear line later this year.
