TV series ‘The Classic Car Show’ has selected 999 Design to create a showcase website for the programme capturing the passion, glamour and history of classic cars.

Appointed without a pitch, 999 has been charged with creating a highly visual, interactive online experience where users will be able to learn about the cars featured in the TV programme, which is set to return in January 2015.

Hosted by supermodel and racing driver Jodie Kidd and founder member of Top Gear and classic car journalist Quentin Wilson, The Classic Car Show is currently shooting on location with some of the world’s most prestigious and glamorous cars and A-List guests including David Gandy, David Coulthard and Sir Stirling Moss.

Of the series, Wilson commented: “No-one has filmed a classic car series like this before. We've got gorgeous cars, A-list celebs, passionate stories, an extraordinary filming budget and endless enthusiasm. The Classic Car Show is an amazing insightful series without a socket set in sight.”

The Classic Car Show website is scheduled to launch ahead of the series debut in autumn 2014 with the ability to compare classic cars with their contemporary counterparts, including the investment potential, set to be a key feature of the site.

Those looking to purchase a classic car will also be able to use the website find local dealers.
