The Drum’s latest issue marks the first ever fully Blippable edition, packed full of content from The Drum Live and including behind-the-scenes videos and interviews with the event’s speakers, including YouTube sensation Jim Chapman and BBH US founder Cindy Gallop.

The magazine – the first edition to accept Bitcoin payments – marks one of the most ambitious uses of mobile augmented reality and image recognition platform Blippar by a trade title ever, according to Blippar.

All readers who receive a print copy of the 23 July issue must download Blippar to their phones to unlock the exclusive video footage and interviews within the content.

Blippar’s marketing opportunities director Stephen Shaw said: "Creating a totally Blippable magazine at The Drum Live was certainly one of the biggest and most ambitious uses of Blippar ever by a trade publication.

"Being able to see the content unfold throughout the day and working with great talent and content from the likes of Adam&Eve and The Drum editorial team certainly put our self-service platform Blippbuilder through its paces and is testimony to its abilities to deliver dynamic, compelling and engaging content on the fly," he said.

A mix of footage will be available to view, ranging from live experiments conducted on The Drum Live audience by renowned neuroscientist Beau Lotto, to the potential of new payment currencies like Bitcoin, to a fast-ad challenge which saw brands including Unilever and Marks & Spencer release real-time briefs to agencies in the audience.

All video footage will be available via the print magazine from tomorrow (23 July), and will be available to view online later this week.
