Samsung Galaxy ‘Screen Envy’ ad mocks the new iPhone 6
Samsung’s new Galaxy S5 ad has taken a cheeky swipe at its competitor Apple mocking revelations that the new iPhone 6 will have a large screen.
The ad, called ‘Screen Envy’, laughs at iPhone 6’s reported screen size increase from four inch to 4.7 inch - the same as the current Samsung Galaxy S4.
‘Screen Envy’ shows two friends discussing smartphones, with an Apple fanboy expressing his excitment for the new iPhone 6's large screen when it is released. In response, the Samsung user condescendingly shows the Apple fan his large-screened Galaxy S4, which is already out.
From this point, a narrator says: "You know that thing you've been waiting on for like two years and how it's supposed to be awesome and how it's going to blow your mind? Well it's been here this whole time… but maybe you just like waiting."
Apple will reveal two new iPhones in the coming months, a 4.7 inch one and a 5.5 inch ‘phablet’.
