Tremor Video has hired former Yahoo director Sue Hunt to the newly created role of head of programmatic for Europe.

Hunt, who was previously director of the Right Media ad exchange business across EMEA for Yahoo for three years, will be responsible for developing partnerships between Tremor Video and agency trading desks across Europe.

She has been UK managing director for supply-side platform Improve Digital for the last year, and throughout her career has held multiple senior roles including head of Google’s DoubleClick for EMEA regions.

Alex Macnamara, Tremor Video’s UK managing director, said: “Sue brings a rich and broad range of ad tech experience to our programmatic team, from sales to operations and agency to media seller. Her unique background encompasses multiple aspects of the programmatic ecosystem.”

Hunt will be based in London, and will start her new role in the UK office on Friday (25 July). She will be charged with building a team around her to help drive the programmatic product proposition for the business.
