Hollyoaks actors Jazmine Franks (Esther Bloom) and Alfie Browne-Sykes (Jason Roscoe) are backing a free exam results helpline this summer, with the aim of helping those who don’t know what to do after receiving their results next month.

The two-month campaign for the Exam Results Helpline (ERH), which is funded by the Department for Education, looks to play on the ages of the Hollyoaks characters to encourage confused teens to get in touch.

Victoria Ward, communications manager for the project, said: “We’re going to drip feed eye-catching photos of both actors holding a board with the Exam Results Helpline’s contact details across social media channels.

“We also have some great video clips of Jazmine and Alfie encouraging students to call the helpline if they need advice or want to talk about their options. Using the Hollyoaks actors will raise the profile of the helpline across traditional and social media and make it more appealing and accessible for students.”

The two Hollyoaks characters used in the campaign will be collecting their exam results on 14 August.
