Ladies Professional Golf Association creates branded content hub on Blinkx
The Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) has teamed up with video search company Blinkx to offer clips and coverage from this week’s Marathon Classic tournament in a branded content hub on the Blinkx website.
Using its AdHoc platform, Blinkx will place contextually relevant advertising against golf highlights, player interviews and tips and share the resulting revenue with the LPGA.
“At the LPGA we are dedicated to celebrating our rich and rewarding history while keeping an eye toward the future, with a focus on enhancing business relationships, increasing exposure for the players and maximizing the LPGA experience for fans,” said Brian Carroll, senior vice president, television and new media, LPGA.
The hub will feature several different channels in a bit to reach new fans.
