Former Sky social media manager launches own agency

Alex Packham, a former social media manager at Sky, has today launched his own social, digital and content marketing agency, ASTP, in response to the ongoing mobile and social revolutions.

Focussing on social media, content creation, digital advertising and marketing strategy for new business launches ASTP will provide services for clients including Match Capital, Roko Health Clubs and Props Store.

Packham, who has prior experience running a social insight programme for Now TV, said: “Consumer behaviour has shifted dramatically in the past 5 years. So much content is being created by brands and media outlets, we have to put everything into ‘feeds’.

“Smartphones and social networks have been the catalyst for instant communication and information consumption. Our attention spans are decreasing and consumers have more choice than ever before.

“ASTP will provide expertise for brands to keep up with the pace of the digital landscape.”
