Digital agency Essence has announced its first ever corporate executive management team continuing the restructure to the company following Christian Juhl’s promotion to global CEO last month.

Joe Tomasulo: New global CFO at Essence

The team consists of Joseph Tomasulo, global chief financial officer who is responsible for all financial and legal matters for Essence globally, Mark Nancarrow, global chief operating officer, who is accountable for the agency’s global delivery and Claire St Louis, global chief people officer, who will push the company's ‘human agenda’ to the forefront of its strategic direction.

Tomasulo was previously the global CFO for digital agencies within Publicis Groupe, Nancarrow was the COO and St Louis has been a partner at Essence since last year.

On the new appointments Juhl said: “Essence has grown ten-fold in the last four years, but to continue at that clip will be no small feat and will take a world-class executive team. I can think of no better people than Joseph, Mark and Claire to be my partners in this endeavor.”

Tomasulo will be based in Essence’s New York Office, while both Nancarrow and St Louis will be in London. Juhl remains based in San Francisco.
