Scottish Crown Office confirms Andy Coulson indicted for perjury

The Scottish Crown office confirmed this afternoon that an indictment was served today on jailed former News of the World editor Andy Coulson.

Coulson, who on Friday began an 18-month prison sentence for conspiracy to illegally intercept voicemails, has been charged in relation to testimony he gave at the trial of Scottish politician Tommy Sheridan.
