Twitter hack subjects Labour to owls of laughter
A prankster has co-opted the official Twitter feed of the Labour party’s press office to pledge that ‘Everybody should have his own owl.”Despite being swiftly deleted the rogue tweet immediately went viral as social media users deluged the party with puns.Responding to the affair Labour later tweeted; “We had hoped our compulsory owl guarantee would be a head turning policy, but sadly it's no longer going to take flight. #tweettwoo."
For those asking, the owl tweet was a result of our twitter account being hacked. Hopefully we're out of the woods now.
