Top 20 most influential UK LinkedIn brands revealed

LinkedIn has published a top 20 list of the most influential UK brands amongst LinkedIn’s 300m worldwide members.

The list showcases those companies which have done best at engaging with the social media plaforms professional audience through the development of strong content and marketing strategies.

Calculated using LinkedIn’s custom content marketing score, derived by measuring members’ engagement rates with content it shows the strength of a number of media brands in scaling the list.

These include the likes of the Financial Times, the Economist, BBC and Sky, leading the network to suggest that traditional media brands are finding their feet on social media.

Other sectors to perform well were recruitment, energy, finance and pharmaceuticals.

Josh Graff, LinkedOn’s head of marketing solutions, EMEA said: "Content marketing is now the leading tactic for global marketers and it's no surprise that those brands creating carefully crafted, relevant and insightful content are reaping the rewards. These rankings reflect UK brands that have embraced content distribution in a professional context."
