American toy company Fisher-Price has renewed its sponsorship of Channel 5 children’s channel Milkshake for another year, as it looks to tap into its 17 million viewers.

The sponsorship package gives Fisher-Price presence on air for 365 days of the year, includes 10-second branded spots before and after the programme and 10-second spots on Milkshake VOD.

The activity will feature the key Fisher-Price ranges, Laugh & Learn, Little People, Imaginext and Thomas & Friends, and new animated content for the ranges is set to appear in four 10 second bumpers to drive key products, as well as competitions with new brand focused themes.

Wendy Hill, director of customer marketing and brand communications, Fisher-Price, commented on the deal: “Year on year we see a significant benefit to the Fisher-Price brand through our Milkshake sponsorship. It not only drives awareness of our ranges amongst our key target audience but it also builds on the Fisher-Price brand message.”

Milkshake is the only dedicated daily children’s strand on terrestrial TV.
