Neuroscientist and entrepreneur Dr Beau Lotto to conduct live experiments at The Drum Live

Beau Lotto, a professor of neuroscience, is planning to conduct a series of live experiments at The Drum Live – an event where an issue of The Drum is produced in front of an audience.

Lotto, who specialises in the biology and psychology of perception, will discuss the connection between neuroscience and marketing, design and the arts.

Through a number of experiments he aims to show how an understanding of this science could transform the marketing process.

He joins the likes of Twitter – who will host a Vine workshop – Buzzfeed, Asda, ITN, the Guardian, Unilever and Weve at the event, which challenges participants to demonstrate what can be achieved in a day.

Creating the front cover of the special edition is Adam&EveDDB, while a real-time news room is being handled by Edelman.
