The World Cup becomes the 'Greatest Show on Earth' in latest campaign from Budweiser
Budweiser has transformed the World Cup into the ‘Greatest Show on Earth’ in its offering as an official sponsor of the tournament.
Created by Africa the production, which involved more than 700 contributors, brings together two of the brand’s main platforms, sport and music.
Football players Hulk (Brazil), Samuel Eto’o (Cameroon), Gary Cahill (England) and Maya Yoshida (Japan) turn into the rock stars of the World Cup during the ad, with real life rock star Axl Rose and UFC’s Anderson Silva also making an appearance for good measure.
Axl Rose’s Guns n’ Roses provide the soundtrack with the iconic rock anthem ‘Paradise City’.
