Twitter is the latest company to confirm its involvement with The Drum Liveand this year’s theme, A New Way of Working.

The microblogging site will host a Vine workshop at this year’s event, which again will see The Drum magazine created during the course of a day in front of a live audience.

The Vine workshop will aim to challenge and help attendees understand the power of the platform and what they can achieve in real-time by using it.

To underline the theme The Drum has challenged participants to demonstrate what they can achieve in a day. Brands rising to the challenge at the event which takes place in London on 9 July, will include Buzzfeed, Asda, ITN, the Guardian, Unilever and Weve. Meanwhile, as part of a session looking at BitCoin, The Drum will start accepting the virtual currency from that day and will offer delegates the chance to use one of the first BitCoin ATMs in the country.

Speakers will include Harriet Minter, head of Women in Leadership at the Guardian; Sarah Speake, ITV’s director of commercial marketing and research, and We are She Says director Emma Sexton discussing why women are still not breaking through while Neuroscientist and entrepreneur Beau Lotto will tackle how brands can harness neurodesign to reshape their businesses.

Also involved will be Adam&EveDDB, which will create the front cover of the live issue, a real-time newsroom handled by Edelman and the building of a model city that will reflect hyper-connectivity and display how the future of retail, utilities and entertainment will evolve, by Fitch.

More sessions have still to be confirmed in the coming weeks.

For more information or to book tickets for The Drum Live, see the dedicated website.

Everyone who attends will be listed as one of the contributing editors in the magazine and, of course, a copy of the 23 July issue of The Drum Live that you helped to create.
