To celebrate Porsche returning to Le Mans after 16 years, the brand is running a 24-hour social media race on Twitter and Weibo.

Running from 3pm CET on 14 June, the race sees fans able to create their own teams with the race itself to have one rule: the better you tweet, the faster you will go.

The first team will win a very exclusive VIP package to attend an LMP race (in Austin or Shanghai) and will have the chance to approach the Porsche 919 Hybrid.

The 24 Hours of Le Mans has been held annually since 1923 near the town of Le Mans, France and is considered to be one of the most prestigious automobile races in the world.
