Apple iPhone owners are early adopters and are more likely to enjoy getting drunk, wearing designer clothes and consider cosmetic surgery research claims

Apple iPhone owners in the UK are new adopters and are more likely buy a newly released products ahead of most of their friends, according to research released by Kantar Media TGI to The Drum.

Research looking at the habits of iPhone owners discovered that 90 per cent were likely to purchase a new product within their friends group first, while they were also 75 per cent more likely than the average British adult to enjoy going out and getting drunk.

Almost half (48 per cent) of iPhone owners also felt the need to check their social networks on a daily basis, while they were also 85 per cent more likely to wear designer clothes and 66 per cent more likely to consider cosmetic surgery.

More than a quarter of British iPhone owners said that they liked to have control over people and resources, while 34 per cent admitted to having expensive tastes.

In contract, people who owned an Apple product were 52 per cent more likely to buy a new product ahead of their friends and 50 per cent more likely to wear designer clothes. They were also 47 per cent more likely than the average British adult to enjoy getting drunk and 37 per cent more likely to have cosmetic surgery.
