'If you like football don't shoot during the World Cup' Palme d'Or winner Wim Wenders reveals his 'Rules of Cinema Perfection' in Stella Artois campaign
German filmmaker, playwright, author and photographer Wim Wenders has revealed his ‘Rules of Cinema Perfection’ as part of Stella Artois’ global campaign ‘The Perfectionists’.
Cannes Film Festival Palme d’Or winner Wenders rules for success include ‘avoid working with animals, they never do what you want them to do’, ‘don’t shoot a western if you don’t like horses’, ‘never fall in love with your leading lady’ and ‘wait another five seconds before you say cut…you never know’.
Shot during this year’s Cannes Film Festival, the film is the first in series created by Mother which will follow the experts involved in the Stella Artois sponsorship portfolio, future films are planned for Wimbledon and the British Open Golf Championship.
