Voting for The Drum Search Top 50 has launched today. The poll, which is sponsored by cross-channel performance advertising platform Marin, will celebrate the biggest names in search marketing and SEO.

A shortlist of 100 has been complied by our editorial team, and it is now up to readers of The Drum to decide who will rank in the top 50. Those in the top 50 will be profiled in a print supplement published alongside The Drum magazine.

Andy Oakes, head of content at The Drum said: “For many years now the search industry has been the backbone of digital marketing. Start-up agencies have become multi-million pound businesses, two man bands are now international networks. We are calling on the industry to help us define those who defined an industry and took digital marketing from the back office to where it is today.”

The Search Top 50 will be published on 3 September.

Voting is quick and easy, you can nominate up to three shortlisted individuals (below) in order of preference, or do so via a separate web page.

Voting will remain open until Friday 20 June.
