Lucozade Sport ‘melts’ Stephen Gerrard in new football-themed ad
Lucozade Sport, official sports drink of the England Football Team, has created a new ad which shows England captain Steven Gerard ‘melting’.
Released today the ‘Lucozade Sport Conditions Zone – the Heat’ film, which is narrated by actor Benedict Cumberbatch, shows Gerard slowly melting into a pool of sweat, to symbolise the “hot and humid” conditions that England will face this summer in Brazil.
The new spot, which was created using CGI and 3D body scanning technology, has been released following the launch of the Lucozade Sport Conditions Zone, a 5-a-side venue that will give amateur players the chance to play in the same weather conditions that their “footballing heroes” will face this summer at the 2014 Fifa World Cup.
