LinkedIn is placing the spotlight on the success of its members in a new campaign that highlights how users “realised their professional aspirations”.

The Picture Yourself campaign, which launched yesterday, shares stories from members who have achieved their career goals, and is meant to inspire others to do the same.

"As the head of brand marketing I had the honor of working with some of our members as we captured their stories for the campaign", wrote Sarah Acton, head of brand marketing, LinkedIn, on the company’s blog page.

“Hearing their stories and uncovering their paths to success was truly inspirational. As I reflect on these conversations there were several common themes that emerged. These themes are common not just among these nine members we worked with, but of members who have found their dream and in turn, professional success.”

Those ‘themes’ include ‘turning a passion into a profession’, ‘making a splash’ in the world around them and being ‘gracious and humble’.
