Energy giant E.ON has called a pitch for its digital account, which was won by LBi in 2010.

The Drum understands DigitasLbi has declined to repitch for the account, which spanned digital creative, user experience, mobile activity and brand communications.

It’s understood the first round of pitches has already kicked off, with the likes of Sapientnitro and Dare understood to be pitching.

DigitasLbi has been the incumbent agency for the last year, having won the account four years ago prior to its merger with Digitas.

DigitasLbi declined to comment on the news.

Last year E.ON kicked off a campaign to urge customers to compare their energy use with other households. The campaign, which saw two TV spots (pictured above) created by DLKW, run during X Factor, and was backed by digital activity run by DigitasLbi.
