Infographic: The teenagers that dominate the digital world
An increasing number of people under the age of 30 are dominating the digital media space and a new infographic from One Productions has taken a closer look at who holds the most influence.
The majority of those featured in the top eight started their channels or blogs when they were still teenagers.
Jamal Edwards was just 14 when he started playing around with a video camera before launching a YouTube channel and subsequently a broadcast company, SBTV. At 23, he is now worth £8m, reaches over 406,000 people on YouTube and employs 12 people.
Similarly, Zoe Sugg (22 years old) launched her YouTube channel Zoella on the back of her blog in 2009. She now commands an audience of 4.3 million on YouTube.
