Webuyanycar.com has increased its partnership with road safety charity Brake with the sponsorship of the 2014 Giant Walking Bus campaign.

The initiative, which will see children in primary schools across the UK take place in a safe 500m walk on 11 June, aims to encourage drivers to drop their speed to 20mph around schools.

Rich Evans, head of technical services at webuyanycar.com, commented: “We’re proud to be a part of Giant Walking Bus for the first time this year as part of our on-going partnership with Brake. The work they do is so important and they find fun and engaging ways to do it. It’s great to be part of such a massive movement.”

The event is part of the GO 20 initiative launched by Brake to encourage the introduction of 20mph zones around schools and in residential areas.

Schools can sign up from now until the beginning of June at brake.org.uk/giantwalkingbus.
