Mindshare Worldwide has tasked Alex Stil with the role of global head of programmatic, which he will handle in conjunction with his EMEA head of digital position.

Stil will focus on programmatic marketing in the EMEA region and elsewhere for the foreseeable future, while also managing Mindshare’s global relationships with Xaxis, GMTD and Quisma to ensure the agency is developing a clear roadmap for local market roll-and product enhancement.

Stil said: “I’m delighted to take on this role for Mindshare at a time when programmatic marketing is becoming such an integral part of our offering. We have a superb team in place already around the world and will be looking to build on that in South America, Europe and Asia Pacific.”

Norm Johnston, Mindshare Worldwide chief digital officer, added: “Alex has a unique combination of operational, digital and creative experience and is widely recognised as a passionate digital pioneer and entrepreneur in the online media market.”

In his head of digital role, Stil leads a community of over 100 digital employees across digital capabilities such as strategy, mobile, social marketing, paid search, and performance marketing and is the strategic digital advisor in EMEA to Mindshare’s key clients.
