Adidas is set to launch a new app that will allow customers to put their favourite Instagram pictures onto their trainers.

Launching in August the Adidas Photo Print app will be used to print images from the social media site onto the ZX Flux trainer.

In a post on the sportswear brand's Instagram site, Adidas said: "Print your favourite photos straight on to one of 2014's hottest silhouettes and make a statement on your sneakers like never before... the possibilities are endless."

The Adidas Photo Print app will be available on iPhone and Android.
