Job site Indeed brings in MediaCom as it launches first above-the-line campaign

Jobs portal Indeed has appointed MediaCom to handle its media planning and buying business as its first above-the-line campaign gets underway in the UK.

MediaCom will handle global account management through its Beyond Borders International hub in New York, with regional planning and buying handled by local teams.

"Our task is to make the business famous," said Fraser Riddell, chief client officer at Beyond Borders.

Texas-based Indeed, which was founded in 2004, is running its first advertising push in the UK this month will plans to roll out the campaign internationally later this year.

MediaCom will work closely with Indeed's ad agency Mullen and Hotwire PR to promote the company's 'How the World Works message'.

The UK campaign will comprise TV advertising, video-on-demand, out of home and ambient placements throughout London and the South East, digital activity and paid messages on social media.
