Having worked with him for the past year on a consultation basis, Carat has announced Anthony Rhind as its new chief digital officer.

The former Havas Digital co-CEO has been hired to develop a “community of digital specialists” within the Carat business and lead the digital strategy on key client accounts.

“Our ability to redefine media for our clients requires a clear command of the possibilities that convergence creates and expert understanding of the latest advances in technology,” explained Doug Ray global president, Carat.

“With his impeccable track record of delivering in digital at the highest level, Anthony will give us even greater capability in this area.”

Across the wider global organisation, Rhind has been tasked with bringing together the digital capabilities across the Dentsu Aegis group, including Carat, iProspect and AMNET, to create a more unified digital media business.
