Neilson Holidays has appointed creative agency Beta, following a competitive pitch handled by Oystercatchers.

Neilson, previously part of the Thomas Cook Group before a buy-out last year, appointed the agency as it plans to ramp up its marketing.

Richard Bowden-Doyle, executive chairman of Neilson Holidays, said: “As we look to accelerate the growth of our company, the role of brand and marketing will become much more important and this project will lay the foundations on which we can build for the future."

Beta will work with Neilson to further develop the company’s brand proposition and create a multi-channel campaign that will launch later in the year.

Paul Gardener, Beta’s managing director, said of the win: “Neilson is an ambitious, high-quality business with something very special in its DNA that we’re very excited to be helping to tell people about.

“The company is changing up a gear, and this kind of commercially imperative work is exactly the sort we like doing.”

Neilson specialises in activity breaks.
