Jam has appointed Matt Hardisty, previously joint head of strategy at Mother, to join the agency in the role of partner.

Matt Hardisty joins Jam this week

Taking up his new role this week, Hardisty will work closely with the creative and planning departments in driving forward the agency’s creative product, ancillary offerings and collaboration with other agencies within the Engine Group.

Hardisty said: “Jam are truly lovely people and creatively pioneering. Engine is a multi-coloured integrated playground. Nice people, great work, what more could you ask for? I am thrilled.”

Prior to his time at Mother, where he worked on brands such as Becks and Stella Artois, Hardisty was founder and creative director of AnalogFolk, and also spent seven years at Naked Communications.

He forms part of the new management team at Jam, led by managing director Richard Costa-D’Sa.

Costa-D’Sa added: “Matt comes from a background of agencies that have helped define the industry over the past decade. His entrepreneurial spirit and flair is just what we need as Jam continues to evolve and work with clients in new and exciting areas.”

This is the latest in a series of appointments at Jam, with the agency recently adding Alice Driscoll to the team as deputy managing director.
