In response to demand for extensions, we are pushing back the deadline for our World Cup wall chart competition until this Friday, 9 May.

Last month we teamed up with IgnitionOne to set the industry a fun open brief to design a creative A1 wall chart for the games – with the winner to be printed and distributed with The Drum magazine.

So if you were thinking about submitting an idea but ran out of time, this is your last chance to take part.

Every footie fan will have seen dozens of plain and boring wall charts. This is your chance to create something more inventive and design-led that will look outstanding on the studio wall.

Our creative challenge simply asks designers to dream up an A1-sized planner that allows fans to track all the fixtures and keep up to date with the vital scores. How you approach that brief is entirely up to you.

To take part, all you need to do is send your ideas to worldcup@thedrum.com by Friday.

All the designs we receive will be showcased in The Drum with full credits for all participants. Our readers will then choose which one we should print.

Poster specs:

A1 (portrait or landscape)

Single sided

300dpi high res pdf

Cannot use official Fifa World Cup branding

Logos (up to 50mm in height) of your design agency/personal brand, our project partner IgnitionOne and The Drum will be added to the bottom edge of the winning wall chart. This should be considered when designing.

If you require more information, please email worldcup@thedrum.com.
