The Premier League title race may be going down to the wire – but the top tier of English football has a clear winner when it comes to social video.

According to the newly launched Social Video Premier League table from Unruly, Chelsea are streets ahead of their rivals for social video performance.

Videos on the Blues' official YouTube channel have attracted a total of 1.02m shares across social media – almost as twice as many as title rivals Liverpool.

Fellow title hopefuls Manchester City finished third with 339,775 shares – just over a third of the shares that Chelsea’s videos managed. However, like Liverpool, City have released fewer videos, which on average attract a lot more shares than their West London rivals.Chelsea also boast the most YouTube subscribers and have the most shared individual video, a 2012 clip of rap star Drake and Didier Drogba responding to the Blues’ 2-1 Champions’ League win over Benfica, which has attracted 52,596 shares since its launch.

Crystal Palace only have five videos in the chart, but thanks to them latching on to popular internet memes such as Gangnam Style and Call Me Maybe, they are hugely popular. Average shares per video for the Eagles is way ahead of any other team in the league at 24,000.
