Following on from The Drum’s success at the PPA Awards last year, where we were named business magazine of the year, as well as scooping editor of the year at two separate events, The Drum is this year up for six awards.

The Drum is up for business magazine of the year and business magazine brand of the year, while designer Ross Lesley-Bayne has also been nominated for an award and our event where we put an issue of the magazine together live in a day – The Drum Live – is also up for event of the year.

Aside from this, The Drum’s editor Gordon Young is again up for editor of the year in the business media sector, while managing director Diane Young has been nominated for publishing innovator of the year.

Diane Young said: “It's a great achievement for the team to sustain the level of innovation that they have, and I'm really pleased that this has been recognised through the PPA awards nominations.”

The news comes at The Drum’s London team moves offices due to an increase of staff, with the editorial, marketing and digital team all expanding over the past year.

The results of the PPA Awards are set to be revealed on 10 July.
