Havas Sports & Entertainment appoints Tove Okunniwa as CEO

Havas Group has announced the appointment of Tove Okunniwa as CEO of Havas Sports & Entertainment UK to oversee brands such as the Coca-Cola Company, The Football Association, The Lawn Tennis Association, Sport England, AEG, and Yahoo!

The role will see Okunniwa take charge of the 30 strong division to direct daily business operations, client and partner relationships, strategy, and new business development whilst reporting directly to Lucien Boyer, President & Global CEO of HS&E, as well as Dominique Delport, chairman of Havas Media UK.

Okunniwa arrives at Havas from MEC Access where she helped triple the size of the division as managing director and managed campaigns for the likes of Danone, Wrigley and Specsavers.

Boyer commented: “Tove’s deep knowledge of sports & entertainment, combined with her extensive experience in digital, TV and radio channels, will build on and take our insights-led and integrated vision to the next level, making her the perfect choice to propel our agency forward.

Okunniwa supplants former HS&E UK director Gordon Lott who has left to pursue an entrepreneurial project in sustainability.
