Carling has staged a live ice carving in central London to create social buzz around its current out-of-home (OOH) campaign.

The live event, staged by Kinetic Worldwide, took place yesterday (16 April) in Victoria train station, and compliments a series of billboards and bus shelter adverts currently appearing at key sites across the country.

Steven White, Kinetic account manager, said: “Molson Coors tasked Kinetic with creating a real impact around its Carling British Cider brand this spring so we worked with our creative hub Kinetic Active to devise a high-profile live event to guarantee consumer interaction, visibility and social media activity.

“The ice sculpture and custom-made Carling British Cider bar are sure to catch the attention of consumers and complements Carling’s wider OOH campaign perfectly.”

The experiential activity saw 100ml samples of the Molson Coors-owned cider brand handed to the public from a bespoke bar, while a two-metre-tall block of ice was sculpted in to a replica Carling British Cider bottle and apple.
