O2’s head of brand Shadi Halliwell is parting ways with the company as part of a restructure to deliver a “seamless multi-channel brand experience”.

In a statement, O2 said the restructure, which will see the brand team absorbed into a newly created Marcomms team, was to ensure it continued to “innovate and deliver” for its customers.

Headed up by Ian Cafferky the new team will bring together “content, social media and brand” to consolidate its output. The head of brand position will not be replaced.

Halliwell, who started her career at O2 23 years ago, plans to take time off in the short term before “looking for a new challenge”.
