Instagram users lament loss of Saturday selfies as service goes down
A storm of frustrated Instagram users flocked to Twitter to air their disappointment yesterday that the service had gone down, albeit mostly with good humour. As a result the hashtag #instagraimisdown began trending, with the majority of users questioning what they would do now unable to post pictures of their lunches on Instagram (see below). At the time Instagram confirmed the outage via its Twitter account, where it said: “We’re working to fix a feed delivery issue. Thank you for your patience.”It later reprotedly confirmed the service was back up. But that didn’t stop the wave of amusing tweets from users - The Drum has gathered a snap shot below.
