Adyoulike, a native technology platform and network, has acquired Content Amp as part of a drive to “seize the buzz” around native advertising.

The French network has not disclosed the value of the acquisition, but it is the first in a series of planned European buyouts.

Content Amp, a native distribution and content service, is the first UK acquisition. It had a turnover in 2013 of $5m and has rebranded as Adyoulike UK with founders, Francis Turner and Dale Lovell, joining the Adyoulike management board and running the UK division of Adyoulike.

“In Content Amp we have identified an experienced team that is as excited about native advertising as we are,” said Julien Verdier, CEO of Adyoulike. “Their expertise in all things content, plus extensive brand, publisher and agency contacts in the UK and combined with our market leading native advertising technology, is the perfect fit for Adyoulike to lead the expanding UK and European native advertising market.”

Adyoulike has said that as a joint entity, the expected turnover will be around $10m in 2014.
