Meridian Audio appoints Collective London as lead agency and strategic partner

Meridian Audio, manufacturer of audio and video systems for brands such as Jaguar Land Rover and McLaren, has hired digital agency Collective London as its lead creative and strategic partner.

In addition to taking long-term responsibility for digital marketing strategy and solutions, Collective is also providing business development advice designed to help Meridian broaden its market in readiness for new product launches later in 2014.

John Buchanan, Meridian’s executive VP consumer products, said: “We hired Collective after they demonstrated how they would use their strategic insight to help increase brand resonance and aid sales.

“The pitch process gave us an opportunity to really get to know the Collective team and we immediately experienced great chemistry. They managed to get under our audience’s skin and consequently developed deep insights that are leading us into new ways of engaging – and growing – our market. Our 25th anniversary is a landmark event and we’re delighted Collective are on board to help us amplify the occasion.”

Collective will also investigate “fresh and engaging ways” of communicating Meridian’s “rich” heritage.
