Spotify has today introduced a new look, with a darker theme and refreshed typography, as well as the ability to organise You Music.

The darker theme, Spotify says, was created to make the content stand out “just like in a cinema when you dim the lights”.

The new Your Music collection will allow users to save albums and browse their cover art, while being able to gather their favourite artists and create playlists for every mood and moment.

“We’re also improving our browse feature, delivering even more relevant and localised content. So regardless of whether you’re looking for something to fall asleep to, or the perfect playlist to get you geared up for your big night out, finding the right music for every moment is easier than ever.” Spotify said in a blog post.

The new design, browse system and Your Music collections will roll out to iPhone, desktop and web users from today.

This comes just a day after Jack Milligan, head of branded experiences, spoke at advertising Week Europe about tie-ups between artists and brands.
