The Drum has extended the deadline for submissions to its first Women in Marketing study, which will identify the challenges currently facing women in the industry.

The survey, launched three weeks ago, was scheduled to close on Friday 28 March but due to the level of interest will now remain open until this Friday, 4 April.

As part of the research, The Drum is surveying marketing services agencies to establish their male:female staff numbers in a bid to identify what, if any, inequalities persist in the marketing sector. Agencies are invited to supply this information to aid our research here.

Female marketing industry individuals are encouraged to share their experiences and opinions by completing the anonymous Women in Marketing survey here.

The survey is open to women currently employed in the marketing services industries, including advertising, design, digital, direct marketing, media buying, production, promotional marketing and public relations.
