With Advertising Week set to begin on Monday, The Drum will give away some tickets to attend our Taking Stock of Shock panel on that day, discussing effective use of shock in conveying an advertising message.

Speaking on the panel , moderated by Dave Birss editor-at-large for The Drum, will be BJ Cunningham, founder of Death Cigarettes, John Jessup, former creative director at Leo Burnett, Manifest’s Alex Myers, who handles PR for Brewdog, Ben Williamson, press officer for PETA and Gordon Young, editor of The Drum.

Send us your favourite controversial adverts that have deliberately attempted to provoke a shocked reaction from consumers in delivering their point of view.

The Drum will decide which of those highlighted was most effective and send a pair of tickets to the winners to attend the session, which takes place at The Channel 6 stage at The Underground in London on Monday 31 March at 12.45pm.

To enter tweet or post on our Facebook page the advert alongside the hashtag #shockads.

More details on the event can be found on the Advertising Week Europe website.
