Bauer Media is set to move its portfolio of radio brands and London broadcasting to One Golden Square, as the company looks to “build audiences and revenue”.

The location - the home of Absolute Radio which Bauer bought last December, will undertake a period of building work and plans include ten new studios, market-leading technology, a new live performance session space with video recording capabilities, and a refreshed reception to “reflect the location” as the home of the national brands, which include Kerrang! Magic and heat radio.

London managing director, Bauer Radio Steve Parkinson said: “One Golden Square is an iconic radio location, known to the media industry and audiences alike. Having the national radio teams in one building will support our business objectives to drive initiatives and ideas across the Bauer Media group, and to build audiences and revenue.”

Collectively, Bauer Media’s radio brands reach over 10 million listeners in the UK.
