On the night that Man Utd and Man City, clash on the pitch, The Drum Network is inviting ambitious agency owners to come and watch all the action from Old Trafford at the Manchester offices of Cube3 and also hear the latest findings of a UK-wide benchmarking study into agency pitching.

The Drum Network event kicks-off at 6pm on Tues 25th March with Jim Law of Wild Heather Digital Research revealing the findings of The Drum network’s recent benchmarking study on agency pitching.

Jim will reveal how regularly agencies are pitching for new business, how much they typically spend on pitches, how they resource their pitch team, what criteria agency owners use to decide whether to pitch or not, typical conversion rates and much much more.

Also before the big match kicks-off at 7.45pm, Peter Czapp, co-founder of specialist creative industries accountancy firm, The Wow Company, will reveal and discuss their latest agency benchmarking study findings, which has some revealing information on how independent agencies across the UK are re-shaping their business to grow, how much they expect to grow in the year ahead and where that growth is going to come from in terms of new business and pitching.

After our two speakers the action will shift to the pitch at Old Trafford, where Man United and Man City will go head to head in one of the city’s most eagerly anticipated matches of the season. Attendees can stay with us and enjoy refreshments at the free bar, while hopefully enjoying what will be an enthralling match.

Speaking of the event Richard Draycott, managing director of The Drum Network, said: “This will be a very interesting evening as Jim and Peter have some great insights from their two distinct research projects to share with agency owners. Then having the football to enjoy afterwards with a few beers from the bar at Cube3 will make this a great networking evening all round.”

Tickets to attend this are FREE to members of The Drum Network and just £45 + VAT for non-Drum Network members. To book your non-members ticket click here.
