A Weird Science style animatronic doppelganger of pop star Lady Gaga has been terrifying visitors of the David Zwimer Gallery in New York by replicating some of the singers signature dance moves in an eerie manner.

Manufactured by artist Jordan Wolfson and Special Motion the lifelike doll has been dressed to look like its namesake and even employs facial recognition technology to interact with visitors.

Those unable to make it to New York have been rating the robotic creations moves online with over 150k people viewing a short YouTube clip.

One of them, Destinee Ross, remarked: “This is creepy as hell. But even cooler. It just... Doesn't sit well. And then I heard Blurred Lines in slow-mo and I had to pause it because I could hardly breathe from the discomfort.”
