Evian to use Snapchat to tease new marketing campaign

Evian has turn ped to Snapchat in an bid to promote exclusive content from the bottled water brand's upcoming campaign film.

The Evian Water account on Snapchat will be used to send out short clips, which will disappear once viewed on the user's smartphone.

The activity is being driven by social media agency. We Are Social.

Laurence Foucher, global digital manager,Mfour Evian, said: “Snapchat’s ephemeral nature is perfect for sending teasers to build excitement, which makes it the perfect platform to preview our next campaign.”

Deola Laniyan, senior account director at We Are Social, added: “The popularity of Snapchat has exploded dramatically in the last year, providing another potential group of fans to engage with. Evian’s ads are always incredibly popular - Baby and Me topped the UK’s most watched online ads last year – so it is fantastic to introduce the brand to a new platform and drive reach and engagement even further.”

The new campaign will begin on Monday 24 March.
