Lidl is showcasing its wide range of wines, food, desserts and chocolates in an Easter campaign that shows a variety of people shocked by the breadth of products available from their local store.

The commercials, created by TBWA\London, show various people confronted with shocking news but barely noticing as they’re so taken aback by the fact that the products came from Lidl. Topping and tailing the 30” and 10” creatives aims to add another layer of surprise to the activity, with four 30” radio promotions in the same vein running concurrently with the TV ads.

The campaign will air from today (Thursday 20 March) on both TV and outdoor with the TV push covering all of the UK’s biggest stations and favourite programmes.

An additional 10” advert for Lidl’s Premium Deluxe range will also air, celebrating its variety and quality.
