DigitasLBi appoints Google Planning Innovator of the Year David Carr as strategy director

DigitasLBi has appointed David Carr to join the team as strategy director, where he will be responsible for developing and leading digital strategy for key clients.

Joining from the role of planning director at JWT, where he led digital strategy for Johnson & Johnson in EMEA and the Nordics, Carr will be based in DigitasLBi’s London office and will report to Ed Beard, head of creative strategy.

Of his appointment, Carr said: “The DigitasLBi team has an incredibly diverse range of skills, and I’ve been impressed by their depth of experience and intelligence. I'm looking forward to exploring how we can use the unique blend of strategy, creativity, media and technology to help transform our clients’ businesses.”

The appointment comes as DigitalLBi looks to help transform its client brands for the digital age.
